The Rotary Club of Boca Raton recently announced their 2009 OPAL (Outstanding People and Leaders) Award recipients. Mike Kaufman of Kaufman Lynn accepted the award in the category of Private Sector. Mike has made significant contributions of his time, resources and talent to the Boca Raton community for many years.

Mike joins this year’s other OPAL honorees, Dr. Ira Gelb – Medicine, Ben & Rosemary Krieger – Community Service, Mickey Gomez – Civil Service, and Kevin Turner – Education. This distinct group of community leaders will be honored on Friday, January 16, 2009 as The Rotary Club of Boca Raton and the Community Partners continue this prestigious tradition at the 12th Annual OPAL Awards ceremony.
