Throughout 2009 and now into the new decade, Moss-Marlow is celebrating 100 years of building in Catawba and surrounding counties.

Experience, stability and their rich heritage are key reasons why Moss-Marlow continues to build and prosper. More than half of their employees have worked for the company for over 10 years. This dedicated workforce includes field personnel as well as office personnel and officers.

In 2007, after operating from their South Center Street location in Hickory for 98 years, the company purchased, renovated and relocated to an existing property located at 3039 Hwy. 70 Southwest.

Todd Rhodes succeeded Don Moss as president of Moss-Marlow in 2004. When people ask Todd how business is, he is quick to say, “We are thankful! Thankful for great customers, thankful for great employees, subcontractors and suppliers, and thankful to be a part of a company that was founded on strong conservative building principles that have enabled us to weather storms such as the current economic challenges.”

Today their focus is shared equally among commercial and residential projects with personnel dedicated to both construction disciplines. Quality workmanship and customer service are keys to longevity in this business.
