Robert Davidson Elected to the Board of Directors of the TRBA

In December, Robert Davidson was elected to the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Road Builders Association.

The Tennessee Road Builders Association was founded in 1928 by a group of contractors in Tennessee whose aim was to promote better contracting and conditions, to clarify specifications, and last, but certainly not least, to secure the cooperation of the highway department through the commissioner of highways.  Currently, the TRBA has nearly 400 members state-wide.

The TRBA consists of six divisions: Aggregate, Asphalt, Bridge & Concrete, Grading, Specialty and Associate. Each division has two representatives on the board of directors at all times and the presidency of the association rotates among the divisions each year, with the exception of the associate division. The immediate past president is retained on the board for one year, giving TRBA a 13-member board.
