TDOT Top Quality Awards

At the TRBA Mid-Year Meeting, held in Franklin this past July, the Tennessee Department of Transportation presented its Top Quality Awards for 2005-completed projects. 

Simpson Construction, of Cleveland, was presented a Top Quality Award in the Large Project Category for its construction of the $5.6 million bulb-tee bridge on U.S. 70 over the Holston River in Knox County.

Highways, Inc., of Brentwood, was also presented a TDOT Top Quality Award in the Small Job Category for its resurfacing of Interstate 40 (and bridge repair on S.R. 101 over I-40) in Cumberland County from the Obed River to U.S. 70.
