Tennessee's Tax-Free Shopping Dates

Tennessee's yearly tax-free holidays begin on the first Friday in August each year at 12:01 a.m., and ends at 11:59 p.m. the following Sunday. This year's dates are Friday, August 3, through Sunday, August 5. During this time, certain clothing, school supplies and computers may be purchased without sales tax being applied.  Click here for a comprehensive list of tax free items.
