Don Singleton
Don Singleton is a partner at Davidson, Golden & Lundy with over 35 years of experience in public and private accounting. He has a long history in construction accounting, including experience as a CFO in the light manufacturing /construction industry and as a sole practitioner.
Don has extensive experience in many areas related to contractors, including financial audits, business valuations, litigation support, risk analysis / internal controls, job cost analysis and general management consultation. He has also worked with clients in the real estate management, retail construction equipment, wholesale distribution and large not-for-profit sectors. Since joining the firm in 2000, Don has provided numerous services to SEC companies, including construction business reviews, evaluations and internal audits.
Don is licensed both as a CPA and a lawyer in Tennessee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants and the Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations. Don is also accredited in business valuations by the AICPA.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, Don has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in accounting. He graduated from the Nashville School of Law as an inductee into the Cooper’s Inn Honor Society and as the recipient of the Founders’ Award.
