Greg Golden
Greg Golden specializes in providing audit, accounting, tax and business consulting services to the construction industry for Davidson, Golden & Lundy, where he is a partner and co-founder. His leadership, construction expertise and dedication to the industry provide the firm’s clients with a competitive edge. Davidson, Golden & Lundy now provide services to more than 300 construction entities nationwide.
Greg has 25 years of public accounting experience and spends most of his time working with privately owned construction companies. In addition to the specialized audit and tax services, his consultation specialties include resolving construction accounting issues, continuity planning and assistance with buy-sell agreements, increasing and maximizing bonding capacity, equipment debt restructuring, financial and tax physicals for prospective clients, client acquisition services, improving client internal control procedures, equipment and job costing consultation, multi-state licensing and DOT prequalification, construction accounting software selection, and client staff training. He also provides litigation support services for construction companies and contract owners.
Greg has served as the discussion leader of construction accounting topics for various organizations. He is a member of the Tennessee Road Builders Association, Associated Builders and Contractors and Associated General Contractors. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Before co-founding Davidson, Golden & Lundy, Greg worked for four years in the Nashville office of the international public accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co.
Greg graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
