| Whit Forehand is managing partner of Davidson, Golden, Lundy & Forehand’s office in Orlando, Florida. Whit has 20 years of accounting experience, focusing exclusively on construction and related issues since 1993. His areas of focus in the construction industry include financial statement analysis, surety bonding issues, claim documentation and consultation, accounting-related legal support and merger and acquisition consultation.
Whit works with large and small construction clients throughout the state of Florida. He works on both financial reporting and tax matters with his clients. Whit and DGLF are well-known by the construction and surety industry. He has also spoken at numerous trade association meetings and seminars regarding construction accounting and taxation issues.
Whit performs claim documentation for public and private entities throughout the United States. His claim work experience includes documentation cases on large multi-party claims for several Fortune 500 companies including GE and Honeywell. He helped speed the settlement of each case and assisted all sides in reaching a clear understanding of the costs and financial issues involved.
Whit has published numerous articles about construction accounting issues. CFMA’s Building Profits magazine reprinted one of his articles after naming it one of the ten most popular articles published by the magazine.
